How To Write Good

How To Write Good

We don't know where this came from, but some is derived from William Safire's Rules for Writers

1. Always avoid alliteration.
2. Prepositions are not words to end sentences with.
3. Avoid cliches like the plague--they're old hat.
4. Employ the vernacular.
5. Eschew ampersands & abbreviations, etc.
6. Parenthetical remarks (however relevant) are unnecessary.
7. Parenthetical words however must be enclosed in commas.
8. It is wrong to ever split an infinitive.
9. Contractions aren't necessary.
10. Do not use a foreign word when there is an adequate English quid pro quo.
11. One should never generalize.
12. Eliminate quotations. As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said: "I hate quotations. Tell me what you know."
13. Comparisons are as bad as cliches.
14. Don't be redundant; don't use more words than necessary; it's highly superfluous.
15. It behooves you to avoid archaic expressions.
16. Avoid archaeic spellings too.
17. Understatement is always best.

FUTSAL PROGRAM

I. Basics Futsal
The priority in Futsal is to motivate players in an environment that is conducive to learning. The more pleasure kids derive from their participation, the more they wish to play and practice on their own. While their instinct to play is natural, their affection and appreciation for soccer must be cultivated. Futsal is the foundation to such goals because it:

Experiential learning theory (ELT)

Experiential learning theory (ELT) describes learning as “the process whereby knowledge is created through the transformation of experience” (Kolb, 1984, p.41). ELT attempts to express the holistic nature of the learning process can be described as a learning model in that it attempts to integrate (see Figure 1.1) portrays what Eickmann, Kolb and Kolb describe in Designing Learning as two “dialectically related modes of grasping experience - Concrete Experience (feeling) and Abstract Conceptualization (thinking) - and two dialectically related modes of transforming experience - Reflective Observation (reflecting) and Ac

The one thing I can think of that most affects both trading and investing has to be self-discipline.
Being disciplined is fully 50% of the job of trading or of investing. I don't care how good your trading system is, without the discipline needed to follow the system you don't have much of a chance for success in meeting your goals.
It doesn't matter how great a planner or organizer you are, without discipline your plans will most likely fail to bear fruit.
Discipline involves self-control, and self-control involves your ego. If you want

10% Of Traders Go Bankrupt

10% Of Traders Go Bankrupt

I was thinking about an article I read some time ago that 90% of traders who ever trade lose their account and that 10% actually go bankrupt. If the first number doesn't scare you then the second definitely should.

Why is it then that there is such a large number of traders failing? It is not because they are stupid; in fact most traders have an above average IQ and are above average in most

Mistake No. 1 - Most technology salespeople shoot from the hip.

Let's be honest. Technology sales is a premeditated sport. If you are looking to sell professional services, web development or software applications successfully, you need to prepare every step of your customer contact process. Amateur salespeople wing it. When meeting clients for the first time, presenting to CIO's, or negotiating contracts, always sit down and plan your actions, talking points, and methodology in order to win business. Many technology salespeople become lazy and interact with customers based on the salesperson's previous experience with a particular kind of client. Professional technology salespeople know that
